SPECIAL NEEDS SUPPORT

For the past 34 years I have been working with children with Special Needs and Learning Disabilities supporting them socially, developmentally, emotionally and academically. 

I support parents and their children by attending school meetings to assist parents in advocating for their children. I review IEP’s, support children in completion of homework, as well as to help parents navigate the system when they are looking for appropriate resources and professionals (Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists). 

I am able to provide support in many areas such as social skills, play skills, sensory integration, Behavioural Coaching, academics, and helping to set up strategies for daily living skills, routines, schedules, organization (i.e. homework, personal belongings) and co-operation in the home.
